WOW의 Shadow는?

- 특정 거리에 따라서 Shadow Quality가 변경됨
- 하지만 경계 부분에서 Quality 변동을 찾아보기 힘듬
- 섬세한 Detail
- Caster와 Receiver의 오류 존재 (Image 3 참고)
- 풀옵션 30 FPS (Core2 Duo E7200, 2GRAM, GeForce 9600GT)

The other major graphical changes that are seen in Wrath of the Lich King are the new light and shadow engine that is being used in the game. It is a misnomer that Blizzard just added the new stencil shadow technology to the game. The reason for this is that in order to accurately portray shadows in a stencil form, the lighting for said shadows must have a source or it will look unnatural. Burning Crusade did have HDR Lighting effects, yet with Wrath of the Lich King these effects have been increased in order to properly display the shadows on every aspect in the games landscape. The difference is much appreciated as the landscapes and the play of light and shadow is just a great effect that really just adds much more to the overall graphics of the game.
